Photos released in pair of Nashua robberies


NASHUA – Police released photographs of a gunman they believe is behind two robberies of two businesses last month.

The first robbery happened about 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 25 at the Sunnyside Sunoco gas station, 270 W. Hollis St.

The robber entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, running toward New Dunstable Road.

He is described as a white man wearing dark clothing. Police said a newer-model, dark-colored Jeep Wrangler was seen in the area just before the robbery.

Two days later, shortly after 10 p.m., a gunman robbed Cumberland Farms, 308 Daniel Webster Highway.

The robber entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money. Police said there were several customers in the store at the time, but no one was hurt.

As in the first robbery, the only description of the culprit is he is a white man wearing dark clothing. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, heading toward Pizzeria Uno.
