School hit in Goffstown graffiti spree

GOFFSTOWN -- A graffiti spree that included vandalizing a school building is under investigation by police.

Goffstown officers said graffiti was spray-painted onto the side of the Maple Avenue School, apparently during the early morning hours on Sunday.

Graffiti was also reported on Spring Street and on Smith Road in Goffstown, both within a half-mile of the school.

Police said there was also a burglary in the town over the weekend; a Moreau Street house was broken into and several items were stolen. That location is several miles from the vandalized properties.
