Libraries highlight novel about 1893 Chicago World's Fair, serial killer with NH ties

Just miles away from the fair during construction, New Hampshire native Herman Webster Mudgett, known as H.H. Holmes, had a secret. He was one of the first documented serial killers, and his prey included men, women and children, said Krause and his wife, Barbara. One victim hailed from Lafayette.
