Tanker owners seek $2.4M refund for bridge crash


 




PORTSMOUTH — Owners of the Portuguese tanker MV Harbour Feature, which allided broadside into the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge on April 1, claim the states of Maine and New Hampshire "are guilty of negligence to such a degree" that they should refund a $2.4 million bond posted to secure the tanker's release, and pay for the tanker owners' attorneys fees.
