Travis Taijeron's two-run double in the bottom of the sixth inning broke up Deck McGuire's no-hitter and led Binghamton to a 3-0 win over the Fisher Cats on Friday night, ending New Hampshire's run at an Eastern League playoff spot.
The Fisher Cats fell to 67-71 for the season and were officially eliminated from playoff contention.
McGuire went six and two-thirds innings and allowed two hits, struck out seven and walked four.
Eastern Division-leading Binghamton scored all three of its runs in the sixth inning. The first scored on a McGuire wild pitch.
The Fisher Cats close out the season with games at Binghamton Saturday night and Sunday and Monday afternoons.
