Focused patrols net three drug arrests in Rochester
ROCHESTER — Police on Wednesday arrested three women in two separate incidents involving drugs.
The arrests were a result of police "focusing on traffic stops and targeting high crime areas of the city," according to a release.
Two Rochester women — Haylee Dow, 18, of 18 Walnut St., and Ariana Boyle, 18, of 15 Hickey St. — were arrested after detectives stopped their vehicle as it pulled into the Lowe's parking lot at 3:06 p.m.
Dow was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drugs, while Boyle was charged with possession of marijuana. They were released on $2,500 and $1,500 personal recognizance, respectively, and are scheduled to appear in Rochester District Court Friday at 8 a.m.
Later that day, police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at Rochester Commons. As a result, police arrested Kelly Jo Wagner, 46, a transient, on a charge of possession of heroin. On Tuesday, she had been released on personal recognizance bail after being charged with shoplifting at Walmart.
Following her second arrest, she is being held at Strafford County Jail in Dover on $5,000 cash. She was scheduled to appear for an arraignment Thursday.
