MANCHESTER – A Domino's Pizza employee was hit in the head with a gun by a man who robbed the Amory Street restaurant Tuesday afternoon.
The store clerk told police the man entered the store about 5 p.m., approached the counter, pointed a black handgun at him and demanded cash from the register. The employee handed him some money and the robber then hit him on the top of his head with the gun and fled the store, heading towards Dubuque Street. Police said the employee was not injured.
The robber is described as being a thin man with a medium complexion, possibly Hispanic. He was about 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 and wore a long-sleeve black shirt, black pants, black shoes and a flat-brim black ball cap.
A white bandanna covered his face and he wore black sunglasses that had green or yellow arms. He reportedly spoke broken English.
