CLAREMONT - James R. Robarge, accused of killing his estranged wife in June, finally made an appearance in a New Hampshire courtroom Monday after he was extradited from Vermont to New Hampshire on Friday.
Robarge is set to return Sept. 5 for his probable cause hearing.
He is being held without bail in the Sullivan County House of Corrections in Unity. He is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly recklessly causing the death of Kelly Robarge in Charlestown June 27, the day she filed for divorce.
Her body was found in Unity on July 6.
According to the court complaint, Robarge is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly recklessly causing the death of his estranged wife by "inflicting trauma to her body, under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life."
