Warner man charged with beating girlfriend

WARNER - A man accused of punching his girlfriend several times, threatening her with a knife and then stabbing the knife into a wall beside her has been arrested on charges of assault and criminal threatening.
Nickolas Micucci, 26, was arrested Monday in Contoocook.
His girlfriend told New Hampshire State Police that Micucci had punched her, pulled her hair, slammed her head into the wall and choked her after threatening her with a knife around 2 a.m. Monday.

Micucci was not at the scene when troopers arrived. He was arrested later in the day and faces three counts of simple assault, one felony count of second-degree assault and one felony count of criminal threatening.
