Man seriously burned in fall into fire pit in Candia


CANDIA — A 26-year-old local man suffered second- and third-degree burns Saturday night when he fell into a fire pit, Fire Lt. Matt Dube said.


Dube said the man suffered burns to his back and the back of his arms after falling backward into the pit about 8:10 p.m. Saturday near a home at 164 Island Road. The man, whose name was not available, was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester for treatment, Dube said.
