Sullivan appointed to gaming authority

Kathy Sullivan was appointed by Gov. Maggie Hassan to the Gaming Regulatory Oversight Authority. The commission will make recommendations regarding gaming policy, oversight and regulation, along with drafting legislation for regulations.

Sullivan is a member of Wadleigh, Starr & Peters P.L.L.C., a general practice law firm in Manchester. She has been named as one of New Hampshire's Top Lawyers and is listed in The Best Lawyers of America and Chambers USA.

Sculos named VP at Guaranteed Rate

Guaranteed Rate, the eighth largest home loan company in the United States, announced Jason Sculos has joined the company as vice president of mortgage lending. Sculos will be working in the Nashua office and has been consistently recognized as a top-producing loan originator nationwide and in New Hampshire.

Founded in 2000, Guaranteed Rate has more than 165 offices and is licensed in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

Munsey joins Hanover Road Dental Health

LEBANON - Hanover Road Dental Health in Lebanon recently welcomed Dr. John Munsey to its practice.

Munsey is originally from Saratoga, N.Y. He attended St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., where he received a bachelor of science degree in neuroscience in 2008. He entered Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2012, and completed his residency at the University of Vermont College of medicine in partnership with Fletcher Allen Hospital.

Preti Flaherty named Maine Law Firm of the year

Preti Flaherty was named Maine Law Firm of the year by Benchmark Litigation, a guide to America's leading litigation firms and attorneys. The firm also has a substantial office in Concord.

In addition, Concord resident William Saturley, director, was recognized by Benchmark at a "Litigation Star."

Saturley's practice focuses on commercial litigation, trade secret, employment and intellectual property litigation. He is a native of Epsom and graduate and former trustee of the New Hampton School.

Benchmark Litigation also named one of Preti's New Hampshire attorneys and Concord resident John Sullivan as a "Future Star." Sullivan, also a director at the firm's Concord office, practices in corporate law, commercial finance, general business matters and bankruptcy, where he represents both lenders and borrowers. He is a graduate of St. Paul's School in Concord, served two terms on the Concord City Council and served on the City's Personnel Appeals Board. He is chairman of the City of Concord Ethics Board.

Goddard joines Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center Nashua

NASHUA - Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center Nashua welcomes hematology-oncology provider Beth E. Goddard, APRN, AOCNP. Goddard is an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner and a board certified Advanced Practiced Registered Nurse. She received her Master of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

Tellez named to cancer board

CONCORD - The New Hampshire Comprehensive Cancer Collaboration (NH CCC), has elected three new members to its board of directors, including Dr. Trinidad Tellez of Manchester.

Tellez is the director of the Office of Minority Health and Refugee Affairs at the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, where she oversees the development of partnerships, initiatives and policies designed to reduce health disparities and promote health equity. Tellez is also a member of the NH CCC Prevention and Early Detection Work Group.

The NH CCC developed the state's Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan and works with its partners to implement the objectives outlined in the plan.
