Police say Nashua man hit wife with car after argument

HOLLIS – A Nashua man is accused by police of hitting his wife with his car and then leaving the South Depot Road scene Saturday night.

Police said Marc E. Gamache, 50, of Conant Road, had an argument with his wife about 10:20 p.m. in the parking lot at the Alpine Grove Banquet Facility.
Witnesses told police Gamache's wife was knocked to the ground in the incident and that Gamache drove off.
His wife suffered a minor head injury that did not require a trip to a hospital for treatment, according to police.
Gamache was arrested and charged with reckless conduct, a class B felony, and simple assault, a misdemeanor.
What's next: Gamache is free on $5,000 cash/surety bail pending arraignment Sept. 4 in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
