Coos County approves firm to study impact of growing federal land ownership

The study was prompted by the Androscoggin Headwaters Conservation Project, which protected over 31,000 acres of land around the headwaters of the Androscoggin River. Of the total, 7,452 acres was added to the wildlife refuge.
