Police say Hooksett woman with history of 911 misuse arrests called to ask for a pen

HOOKSETT - Police arrested a Hooksett woman Sunday afternoon after she called 911, allegedly looking to find someone to bring her a pen.

Hooksett Police say on Sunday at 5:02 p.m., police were dispatched to the Carrington Farms housing complex at 130 Mammoth Road to investigate a call to 911 for non-emergency reasons.

Upon arrival, they found the suspect, identified as Jeanie Dufresne, 66, of Hooksett, allegedly intoxicated and incoherent in her apartment.

When asked if there was an emergency, police said Dufresne told them she had none and just wanted someone to bring her a pen. Dufresne was previously released on bail on August 4 and August 13 on charges of misuse of 911.

Dufresne was arrested and charged with misuse of 911 and breach of bail. Upon booking, Dufresne refused the services of a bail commissioner and was transported to Merrimack County Jail to await a hearing by video arraignment Monday in 6th Circuit Court in Hooksett.
