Nashua man faces assault charges
NASHUA — A Nashua man accused of beating another man in the city last May was arrested Thursday, Aug. 8, on assault charges.
Karl Siniawski, 32, of Palm Street was arrested and charged with assault in the beating of a man at 273 Main Street in Nashua on May 31. The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and required hospital treatment.
Siniawski, who police said is also known by the name Karl Mello, was arrested following an investigation by Nashua detectives.
He was arrested by Nashua patrol officers at about 2 a.m. Monday
Siniawski was charged with second-degree assault, a class B felony, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled drug.
He is free on $6,000 cash/surety bail and will be arraigned on Aug. 21 in Nashua District Court.
