Milton passes ordinance to outlaw jumping from bridges

MILTON — Milton selectmen Monday evening opened the public portion of their meeting with a public hearing on a bridge jumping ordinance — one that outlaws jumping or free-falling from any public bridge or its abutments, anywhere in the town. Penalties start off at $50 and escalate to $1,000 for multiple offenses.
