Portsmouth Herald: Unfortunate, but correct decision to scrap USS Miami
The U.S. Navy made the right call when it decided this week to scrap repairs to USS Miami, severely damaged by arson fire while at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. It may be a sad ending to a troubling saga that began in May 2012, when shipyard worker Casey Fury set fire to rags aboard the submarine in order to get out of work early, but it's an appropriate one.
