Woman injures ankle, is carried out of Winslow State Park in Wilmot

WILMOT _ A woman was rescued from a trail at Winslow State Park after twisting her ankle while descending Mount Kearsarge on Monday.
Erin Parnell, 23, of Lebanon, said her dog pulled her, causing her to lose her footing a twist her left ankle about three-quarters of a mile away from the parking area at the end of the Barlow Trail.
Parnell told rescuers she was able to go about a quarter-mile further under her own power, but that was all.
Rescuers put her on a litter and carried her the rest of the way.
Parnell was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon for treatment.
