Green Mountain Coffee employee accused of insider trading
The Securities and Exchange Commission has accused a former Green Mountain Coffee Roasters employee of insider trading, alleging the IT manager and a friend outside the company made $7 million in profits by using inside information to predict the reaction of Green Mountain Coffee’s stock price to quarterly earnings announcements beginning in 2010.
