Manchester woman nabbed for outstanding warrants

HOOKSETT — A Manchester woman suspected of shoplifting at Kmart Friday already was wanted on two unrelated warrants, police said.

Police said Tanysha Johnson, 19, took items from the store and concealed them in a bag just before 5 p.m. Friday. Police found she was wanted on an electronic bench warrant for theft by unauthorized taking and a second warrant from Merrimack County for forgery.

Johnson was arrested on the warrants as well as on a charge of willful concealment. Johnson refused the services of a bail commissioner for the willful concealment charge. The electronic warrant was a no bail warrant. She was released to Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office for the forgery warrant and taken to the Merrimack County jail where she awaits a hearing Monday.
