MANCHESTER — The conservative advocacy group Americans for Prosperity Foundation-New Hampshire will host a “Legacy of Freedom” breakfast Wednesday in honor of the 101st anniversary of the birth of Nobel-Prize winning economist, Milton Friedman.
The event will feature remarks from Cato Institute policy analyst Jason Bedrick, a former New Hampshire state representative, about “the importance of education choice in improving quality,” according to AFP-NH.
AFP-NH state director Greg Moore will speak “on the impact of free-market tax and regulatory policy on states’ competitiveness,” AFP-NH said. “The fact that this event is sold out is a testament to the continual relevancy of Dr. Friedman’s ideas. I look forward to joining with so many others from across New Hampshire to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Friedman,” said Moore. The event is at 7 a.m. at Murphy’s Diner, 516 Elm St., Manchester.
