MANCHESTER -- Top Republican state lawmakers will hold a “budget roundtable” at Manchester City Hall on Thursday at 12 noon.
The party says the roundtable will be open to the public.
Announced as attending are Republican Senate President Peter Bragdon of Milford, Senate Majority Leader Jeb Bradley of Wolfeboro, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Morse of Salem, and House Finance Committee members Lynne Ober of Hudson and Kenneth Weyler of Kingston.
“These Republican legislators are going to talk about their success with the state budget and their plan to preserve the New Hampshire Advantage,” said GOP spokesman Ryan Williams.
“They are proud of the work they did to stop Governor (Maggie) Hassan’s tax increases and want to discuss it with Granite Staters.”
The lawmakers will take questions from the audience, the state party said.
Williams said there will be additional roundtables in other communities in future weeks.
