Clay Campbell and Myles Green combined to pitch a no-hitter to lead Goffstown to a 14-0 win against Salem for the New Hampshire State 10-11-year-old Little League state title Tuesday at Manchester Central Little League’s Sam Harris Field.
Campbell struck out seven batters and walked four on 83 total pitches. Green faced the last three batters in the fifth inning to secure the no-hit win.
Brett Patnode had three hits and drove in five runs. Ben Harris also led the winners with two doubles and one single. Harris drove in two runs. Goffstown scored five runs in the first inning and six more in the fifth inning. Will Soucy added a two-run single for Goffstown was 4-1 in the state tournament.
They were 4-0 in the pool play and finished 8-1 overall.
