Hanover police investigate overnight burglaries

HANOVER -- Police are investigating burglaries that took place in a downtown residential neighborhood during the early morning hours Tuesday.
According to police, sometime between midnight and 6 a.m., four unlocked vehicles and two unlocked homes on Barrymore and Woodrow roads were entered and property was stolen. The residences were occupied at the time. The thieves appear to have takens money and electronics.
Other residences and vehicles may have been targeted.
Anyone with information about these or other related crimes are asked to contact Detective Eric Bates at 643-2222.
Police urge residents to lock their home and vehicles.
