Exeter crash causes gas leak, forces evacuation
EXETER _ Police are investigating an auto accident that caused a gas leak and forced a building to be evacuated.
Exeter Fire Lt. Jason Greene said the car struck a multi-family dwelling around 8:40 p.m. on Monday, damaging the natural gas line and causing an active leak.
Greene said the people inside evacuated the building and the line was repaired. There were no injuries.
Greene said police were investigating how the car ended up hitting the building.
