Teenage girl hurt in Rochester accident

ROCHESTER — A 13-year-old girl suffered minor injuries Friday when she was hit by a car while riding through a trailer park, police Sgt. Patrick Emerson said.

Emerson said the girl was part of a group riding through a trailer park on Periwinkle Drive about 6 p.m. Friday. The group entered the road from between two mobile homes when the girl was hit by a slow-moving car, he said.

She was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for treatment of bumps and bruises, he said.
