Dog to sniff out source of beach closures blamed on fecal bacteria

NORTH HAMPTON — Environmental officials are attributing an uptick in fecal bacteria advisories at town beaches to the increase in rain this summer, and now they’re planning to find the source of the problem by calling in a feces-sniffing dog.
