NeighborWorks nears fundraising goal for Manchester headquarters
MANCHESTER — NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire has raised about two-thirds of its fundraising goal to help pay for the purchase and renovation of the organization’s new building downtown.
The organization has raised $530,265 so far as part of its 20th anniversary Capital Campaign fund drive. It hopes to raise a total of $815,000 for its building at 801 Elm St.
NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire offers affordable housing and community development services in 31 communities in southern New Hampshire, including Manchester and Nashua. The organization has provided free home ownership education services to thousands of residents, and helped hundreds of families purchase their first home. More than 900 people live in one of 349 affordable rental apartments created by the organization in Manchester, Nashua, Hooksett and Goffstown.
