NEW LONDON — The Colby-Sawyer College Chargers Club, which is the school’s athletics booster club, held its 20th Annual Tennis Classic July 19-21, at the Patricia D. Kelsey Tennis Courts.

The following are the results:

Senior men’s A final: Glenn McKune (Grantham) and Bea Manning (New London) def. George Wachtel (Naples, Fla., Sunapee) and Bob Wilkie (Sunapee), 6-2, 4-6, 10-6.

Senior women’s final: Denise Olson (New London) and Judy Fledderjohn (Sherborn, Mass.) def. Gail Costello (North Conway) and Lynn Miller (Franklin, Mass.), 6-1, 6-2.

Men’s A final: Larry Barnes (Salisbury) and Andy Day (Bow) def. Matthew and Max Prestwich (Newbury), 6-7, 6-3, 10-5.

Women’s A final: Hannah White (Stockbridge, Mass.) and Jen LaChance (Wilmot) def. Laura Joslin-King (Bradford) and Suzy Psomas (Hanover), 6-7, 6-3, 10-6.

Mixed A final: Ben Taylor (Wilmot) and Jen LaChance (Wilmot) def. Rhonda Green (Boston) and Brian Goddard (Woburn, Mass.), 6-0, 6-1.

Century final: Whitey Joslin (New London) and Diana Piotrow (New London) def. Peter Bartemus (Charlotte, N.C.) and Gail Costello (North Conway), 6-2, 6-0.

Senior men’s B final: Dave Marshall (New London) and Bud Rice (Andover) def. Dave Whitehouse (Dover) and Paul Violette (Dover), 6-4, 6-2.

Men’s B final: D.J. and Sean Karasik (Stratford, Conn.) def. Paul Violette (Dover) and Dave Whitehouse (Dover), 7-5, 6-4.

Women’s B final: Dalia Paradie (Hollis) and Rachel Garrity (Hollis) def. Kristin Stetson (New London) and Kathy Joslin (Loudon), 6-1, 6-0.

Mixed B final: Chester Porowski (Spofford) and Kristin Stetson (New London) def. Linda and Paul Noiseaux (South Pomfret, Vt.), 6-3, 6-2.
