Nashua Telegraph: State can balance scanners, privacy




We understand that police want to collect as much information as they can and store it for as long as they can, but this country has a long tradition of leaving its law-abiding citizens alone. “Just in case” hasn’t, historically, been sufficient reason for police to compile dossiers on their citizens.
