Diver missing in Portsmouth
PORTSMOUTH — Rescue crews continued to search Friday evening for a diver who did not resurface after making a dive Thursday morning.
Fire Capt. Richard Murphy said emergency responders received a call about 11:20 a.m. that the man had not resurfaced an hour after going into the water.
“The search continued for most of the afternoon,” he said.
The man still hadn’t been found as of 6:30 p.m., Murphy said and crews from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and New Hampshire Marine Patrol continued searching Friday night, he said.
