Man found dead in Merrimack River had committed suicide

NASHUA - Police say the 62-year-old Hudson man whose body was pulled from the Merrimack River on Wednesday committed suicide.
According to an autopsy performed by the state Medical Examiner's Office, it was determined that the manner and cause of death was suicide by drowning.
Police say they do not intend to release the name of the deceased male, whose body was found floating in the Merrimack River by a fisherman around 3 p.m. on Wednesday near the Sagamore Bridge.
