CONCORD — The New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy has issued an emergency suspension of pharmacy technician privileges of a woman who allegedly was impaired by drugs while working at the Care Pharmacy in Epsom.

The board said Amanda Allen, 25, admitted working as a technician while impaired by drugs.

The board scheduled a hearing July 24 on whether the suspension should continue throughout the investigation and disciplinary hearing process.

Allen, whose registration as a technician was issued March 21, 2006, is accused of working as a pharmacy technician while impaired as recently as July 6.
