USA Today: NH's Appalachian Trail: Are you up to the challenge?


Everyone from day hikers in Crawford Notch to through-hikers on the Appalachian Trail cross the footbridge on Webster Cliff Trail. 




The stretch of the Appalachian Trail in New Hampshire is widely seen as some of the hike's most challenging terrain: Its earliest pathways were tracks of dirt through the White Mountains in New Hampshire and the Green Mountains in Vermont stitched together to form a longer trail.
