Bishop Guertin names Faulkner new girls’ basketball coach

Bishop Guertin of Nashua athletic director Pete Paladino has announced Jeremy Faulkner as the new girls’ varsity basketball coach. Faulkner, of Hudson, who served as head coach at Souhegan of Amherst, replaces Scott Hazelton, now an assistant women’s coach at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.

In three seasons with Souhegan, Faulkner led the Sabers to two Division II state titles and a quarterfinal finish.

Faulkner coached extensively with the New England Shooting Stars AAU Girls’ Basketball Club and served as both assistant and head coach for nearly 15 years.
