Goffstown woman who allegedly left child in van charged

GOFFSTOWN — A local woman who allegedly left her 2-year-old daughter in a locked van on Tuesday was arrested on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

Police said Sarah Jordan, 25, left her daughter in the van at the Hannaford parking lot at 605 Mast Road. The temperature was 93 degrees at the time and the child was "visibly red and sweating," police said. An officer unlocked the van and the child was treated by emergency responders, police said.
