Gilford police looking for truck, trailer and boat thief

This F350 Ford pickup truck was one of the vehicles that police say was stolen late Sunday night or Monday morning in Gilford. Boats were also reported stolen from the business on Meadowbrook Lane in town. (COURTESY)

GILFORD — Police are asking for the public's help in finding who stole a truck, trailer and boat from a business on Meadowbrook Lane late Sunday night or Monday morning.

Taken from the business were a white 2003 Ford F350 pickup truck with New Hampshire license plate D-S-1; an aluminum 2001 Fastload Boat Trailer, possibly with N.H. registration of T295038, and a white 1994 Powerquest 26-foot Boat, with N.H. registration NH 1501 AU.

"It appears that this theft may be related to past thefts of boats and boat out drives from the same locale, police said in a press release, including a Black 1987 Donzi 22-foot boat, N.H. registration NH 2434 MP, which was stolen in May, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Detective Sgt. Christopher M. Jacques at c.jacques@gilfordpd.org or at 527-4737.
