Market Basket family feud prompts local petition drive supporting Arthur T. Demoulas

STRATHAM — Several employees of Market Basket on Portsmouth Avenue were collecting signatures on Saturday for a petition supporting the supermarket's chief executive officer, Arthur T. Demoulas. In a long-running family feud over the direction of Demoulas Super Markets Inc., the company's board is expected to oust Demoulas on Thursday, July 18, during a vote that includes three new members.
