Military families 'want to cry' over housing at Portsmouth shipyard
KITTERY, Maine — Black mold that causes asthma and headaches in children and adults. Cracks in the walls. Water dripping from ceiling light fixtures. Outdated appliances that leak gas. These are several of a litany of concerns raised by residents of Admiralty Village, home to nearly 200 military families who work at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and in other military capacities in the Seacoast.
