Shea-Porter to host vets open house in Rochester July 16
Joining Shea-Porter, D-N.H., will be Acting Director of the Manchester VA Medical Center, Tammy Krueger, along with staff to assist veterans in opening cases with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and obtaining the benefits they have earned. The event will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at Shea-Porter’s congressional office, 20 North Main Street, Rochester.
“We have an obligation to provide all veterans with the care and service they have earned, and I take that responsibility very seriously,” Shea-Porter said. “I am looking forward to meeting with and hosting veterans in my Rochester office.”
Shea-Porter’s office says she is “committed to increasing veterans’ access to care in New Hampshire, and ensuring that veterans receive all of the benefits they deserve. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, she has consistently advocated for America’s troops and veterans.”
Earlier this summer, Shea-Porter’s veterans liaison held open office hours in Conway, Laconia, and Seabrook, her office said.
