Gov. Hassan to visit flooded areas
State officials have estimated the damage at more than $2 million; FEMA officials are assessing damage to determine if the state will qualify for federal funds. More rain fell in the area Tuesday.
“We will continue to work closely with emergency management personnel and seek federal assistance in order to help our communities recover from the significant damage caused by the recent flooding,” Hassan said in a written statement Monday.
