River search for reported missing person in Boscawen to resume Sunday

BOSCAWEN — A search for a person reported missing in the Merrimack River will resume Sunday with Fish and Game dive teams assisting.

Boscawen and Concord fire departments Saturday launched several boats in the area known as the Hannah Duston swimming hole near where the Contoocook River flows into the Merrimack, authorities said. They received a report of someone in the water about 4:40 p.m. The search was called off about three hours later.

The missing person is believed to be an adult, authorities said.
