The New Hampshire Cats came from behind, scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and then held on for a 6-5 win over the Binghamton Mets in front of 4,124 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium Friday night.

Catcher A.J. Jimenez led off the sixth with a single and moved to third on a wild pitch and Brad Glenn groundout. Clint Robinson walked and Ryan Schimpf homered to right field, his 17th of the season.

Alan Farina came on to pitch the eighth and ninth innings for New Hampshire, working a quiet eighth and sending the Mets down in order after Daniel Muno led off the ninth with a single.

Jimenez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and Kevin Ahrens was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Scott Gracey earned the win, his first of the season, with two shutout innings.

The teams meet again tonight at 7:05.
