SEABROOK, N.H. -- Nine years after the fire chief nearly set fire to his brother-in-law's house with an errant mortar shot, one year after a home fireworks explosion wounded 13 in Pelham, and five months after one of the alleged Boston Marathon bombers bought gun powder-laden mortar kits from the state's leading fireworks retailer, consumer fireworks sales here are booming this July 4 season.
