Warning lifted for Glen Lake

GOFFSTOWN — The police department said the state Department of Environmental Services has lifted its bacteria warning for Glen Lake. All samples taken July 1 came back normal.

The DES reported June 29 that high E. coli levels were detected at Glen Lake, possibly due to runoff from recent rains.

The alert suggested people use caution and that the lake was not suitable for wading or swimming.
