Holstered pistol triggers police response at women's health clinic
PORTSMOUTH — A man with a holstered .45 pistol on his hip triggered a large police response to the Harbour Women's Health clinic Thursday afternoon, when a staff member called police to say the gun was being brandished during an argument. Following an on-scene investigation, police determined the gun owner, Johnathon Irish, was lawfully open-carrying the pistol at the OB-GYN practice on Griffin Road and that the gun was never waved or removed from its holster.
