Boston orchestra visits Colby-Sawyer

NEW LONDON — The Boston Civic Orchestra, conducted by Max Hobart, will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, in Sawyer Center Theatre at Colby-Sawyer College.

The program will include the Cesar Franck Symphony in D minor and works by Beethoven, Prokofiev and Kodaly.
Thirteen-year-old cellist Z. Fung will be spotlighted in composer David Popper's 1843 “Hungarian Rhapsody.”
