Windham’s Greenleaf is medalist at New Hampshire Golf Association Junior Championship

Connor Greenleaf of Windham CC captured medalist honors and a championship flight first-round match play victory during the 2013 New Hampshire Golf Association Junior Championship at Campbell’s Scottish Highlands in Salem on Monday.
Greenleaf shot a five-under-par 66 and won the medal round by five strokes over James McKee of Windham CC, Matthew Paradis of Derryfield CC of Manchester, and Brandon Gillis of Souhegan Woods in Amherst.
In the first round of match play in the championship flight, Greenleaf defeated Roman Ojala of the Shattuck in Jaffrey, 4 and 3.
Today in the quarterfinal round Greenleaf will play Alex von Svoboda of Baker Hill GC at 7 a.m., Mark Mancini of Atkinson meets Tom Hixon of Wentworth at 7:08, Paradis will challenge Patrick McGinley of Manchester CC at 7:16 and McKee will duel Jeremy Duhamel of Canterbury Woods at 7:24. The semifinals will follow later in the day.
The finals will be staged on Wednesday. Champions from the other six flights will also be crowned on Wednesday.
