Nashua woman arrested in child-biting incident
NASHUA – A city woman bit a young boy on the shoulder, leaving teeth impressions and causing bruising, police said.
Fior Pena-Bernard, 23, of 36 Palm St., second floor, was arrested Thursday night on a charge of second-degree assault, a class B felony.
Lt. Francis Sullivan said the child, who is in elementary school and who Pena-Bernard knows, went to the school nurse because his shoulder hurt. The nurse referred the matter to the Division of Children and Youth Services which, in turn, contacted police.
What's next: Pena-Bernard is free on $15,000 personal recognizance bail, pending a July 8 arraignment in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
