Report finds Portsmouth firefighters making millions in overtime
PORTSMOUTH — City firefighters were routinely paid tens of thousands of dollars in overtime between 2009 and 2012, in some cases exceeding 50 percent of their base pay, according to a fact finder's report pertaining to stalled negotiations between city officials and two firefighters unions.
